Tutoring

WHY GET A TUTOR?

To perform well in school, it's important to look at tutoring as a supplement to go along with your education. Students who have regular ongoing support throughout their education perform best academically & there are many reasons for this. Firstly, tutoring serves as a reinforcement tool. By regularly reviewing concepts, you reinforce the information that you have been taught & this helps you store the information in your long-term memory. Secondly, tutoring gives you a chance to ask questions so that you can foster proper understanding of the material. This is important when reasoning your way through unfamiliar problems. Lastly, it is crucial that your tutoring regimen contains tests. Testing your knowledge regularly in order to identify your strengths and weaknesses helps you know where to focus your efforts. These are just a few of the countless advantages of tutoring.

ONE-ON-ONE TUTORING: students can ask questions about any area of chemistry they are studying. Students will be assisted with understanding materials. It is requested that the student gives us a short description of the areas they are having problems with so that we can maximize the use of each hour of tutoring.
